The Computer Science Teaching Center (CSTC) is an internet-based repository of peer-reviewed teaching resources for computer science educators. The CSTC is designed to facilitate access to quality teaching materials developed worldwide. It is endorsed by the Association of Computing Machinery and funded by the National Science Foundation (DUE-9752190). The CSTC is dedicated towards improving Computer Science education standards in any way we can. To achieve this goal, we will not limit ourselves to any certain types of teaching materials. Computer Science education is very much a field of creativity and innovation. As such, CSTC welcomes a wide variety of submissions, provided they aid in the teaching of Computer Science. |
An open solicitation and review process is being developed to collect, critique, rate and refine submissions. The CSTC Editorial Board and review process preserves traditional publication standards. The CSTC provides an avenue for professional recognition and reward for the scholarly contribution of teaching materials. The CSTC framework will be expanded to include a variety of resources such as curriculum development, test banks, lecture notes, syllabi and other appropriate teaching resources. Resources submitted to CSTC may be considered for publication in the ACM Journal on Educational Resources in Computing (JERIC). |
